MACMILLAN >
Audiobook Consultancy – MCB is one of the UK’s leading children’s publishers who have been publishing books for children for 175 years. Small Wardour facilitates a deep dive into the current audio strategy and provides recommendations based on the children’s audio market.
THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE >
Production – In Q4 of 2022 we produced and recorded two new collections of Thomas the Tank engine titles for HarperCollins, based on The Railway Series written by Reverend W Awdry. This included creating new original music and sound fx.
YOTO >
Production – We have worked in partnership with children’s audio player Yoto to record and produce original IP content as well as high quality audio adaptations of licensed children’s brands. Each project was cast, recorded and produced especially for the Yoto platform.
VOXBLOCK >
Audiobook Consultancy – Voxblock is a new physical audiobook player which launched in 2022. Small Wardour lead the acquisition strategy to create a diverse and engaging catalogue for their 5-10 year old target audience.
ROCKFORD’S ROCK OPERA >
Podcast Consultancy – Rockford’s Rock Opera are dramatised musical stories for all the family about science, ecology and extinction. We have devised a podcast strategy to increase their brand reach and revenue as well as build up their fan base. Podcast will launch in 2023.
BAYRD PRESSE >
Audiobook Consultancy – French Children’s Publisher Bayard Presse has a rich history of publishing children’s and youth content across a variety of media. Small Wardour advises on their international roll out strategy for the UK and US for both audiobooks and podcasts..
BARRINGTON STOKE >
Audiobook Consultancy – Barrington Stoke is a small, independent and award-winning children’s publisher. They were keen to enter the audiobook market. Together we created an audio strategy in line with their vision and produced many of their titles.
PEPPA PIG >
Production – In close consultation with the Penguin Random House audio team we have script edited, cast, recorded and produced four collections of classic Peppa Pig stories for both the conventional audiobook marketplace as well kids’ audio devices such as Toniebox and Yoto.
NUMBERBLOCKS >
Production – We are editorial audio advisers on the new Numberblocks podcast which has been commissioned by CBeebies Radio and is produced by Bafta winning studio Blue Zoo. Small Wardour will be overseeing the scripting process ensuring audio objectives are met.
NUMBOTS >
Production – Maths’ Circle is an internationally trusted EdTech company dedicated to helping children acquire fundamental numeracy skills. Small Wardour added an audio element to their popular KS1 brand Numbots, advising on scripts and producing in studio.
CLOUDALOUD >
Audiobook Consultancy – Cloudaloud is a digital streaming service for children’s audiobooks. Their education offering launched Spring 2022. Small Wardour devised a content strategy specifically for the use of Cloudaloud’s audio across the National Curriculum.
